VALE Lachlan Redd (Class of 1992)

It is with heavy hearts that we bid farewell to Lachlan Redd, a remarkable soul whose musical talents graced our lives. Lachlan’s prodigious skills as a concert pianist and brilliant organist left an indelible mark on our School and wider community. He was the revered sub organist at St Paul’s Cathedral in Melbourne.

Whether in the grandeur of the concert hall or the quiet intimacy of our Lewington room, Lachlan’s music resonated with profound emotion.

Beyond his virtuosity, Lachlan was a gentle spirit—a friend to all, a mentor to aspiring musicians, and a beacon of inspiration.

As we mourn his passing, let us remember Lachlan’s passion for music, his unwavering dedication to his Christian Faith, and the joy he brought to so many lives.

Our thoughts and prayers are with his family, friends, and colleagues during this difficult time.
